I love this image from Sylvia & Mike’s wedding at the Atlantis Pavilion in Toronto. It’s a moment from right after they walked down the isle together after the ceremony.

This shot was the result of the flash not firing and giving me the beautiful silhouette of the father of the bride giving his speech.
I love this image because it’s a fleeting image that was only there for a split second. Every time I look at it I smile. But is it perfect? No.
The focus is on the binoculars instead of the eyes, but in this case I can live with it. In this case the moment of a child playing with her favorite toy is more important than any technical issues.
